The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative and versatile Marketing Copywriter (Contractor) to join the Good Inside team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting clear, compelling, and brand-aligned copy across all marketing touchpoints - from emails and paid ads to landing pages, social posts, and more.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we communicate the value of Good Inside - our membership, our methodology, and our movement. This is a critical role for someone who is energized by fast-paced environments, thrives under quick timelines, and is excited to contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven brand.
What You’ll Own
- Write engaging, on-brand marketing copy for a variety of channels, including but not limited to:
- Email, SMS, and Push
- Paid media ads
- Website and landing pages (including Conversion Rate Optimization copy)
- Social media
- Promotional and product launches
- Video and audio scripts (as needed)
- Paid Search
- Translate complex ideas (like parenting psychology!) into simple, digestible, action-driving language
- Communicate the value and RTBs of Good Inside to audiences with varying levels of familiarity with the brand
- Collaborate closely with brand, design, and growth teams to ensure consistency in voice and messaging across all assets
- Apply feedback quickly and thoughtfully in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Help evolve and maintain our brand voice and copy guidelines
- Participate in brainstorms and creative reviews (in-person in our NYC office when needed)
Your Skills & Experience
- A strong writer with 4+ years of experience in marketing copywriting, preferably at a consumer brand, startup, or agency
- You have a portfolio of marketing work that demonstrates your ability to drive action while staying on brand
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Collaborative, curious, and open to feedback
- Deep understanding of tone, storytelling, and conversion-driven writing
- Bonus: experience writing for parenting, wellness, or education audiences
