About the Team:

The Engineering Management team supports Gotion’s U.S. utility-scale energy storage power station projects. The team coordinates engineering execution across internal technical teams, project management teams, and external partners including utilities, EPC contractors, and permitting authorities. The team ensures projects progress smoothly from development and permitting through construction and commissioning.

Role Summary:

The Power Station Management Engineer supports engineering coordination and technical execution for utility-scale energy storage projects in the United States. The role works closely with project managers, EPC contractors, and internal engineering teams to support project permitting, interconnection coordination, construction engineering activities, and commissioning preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support engineering planning and coordination for energy storage power station projects.
  • Track engineering deliverables and ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation required for permitting and regulatory approvals.
  • Coordinate technical information for interconnection applications and utility communications.
  • Support on-site engineering coordination during project installation and construction phases.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues related to equipment installation and system integration.
  • Maintain engineering documentation, technical drawings, and project records.
  • Prepare engineering reports and progress updates for project leadership.
  • Work with internal technical teams and external engineering consultants to support project execution.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering, construction, or energy infrastructure projects
  • Basic understanding of engineering project coordination and construction processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable energy projects
  • Experience working with EPC contractors or construction teams
  • Familiarity with utility interconnection processes
  • Experience working in large-scale infrastructure projects

 

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000.00 - $200,000.00, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range listed in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
