This engineering position is part of a dynamic Cloud Operations Department that embraces a DevOps philosophy. Here, collaboration between Operations and Development begins before the first line of code is written. By working closely together, the teams ensure the delivery of efficient, reliable, and cost-effective software, eliminating the traditional "throw it over the wall" approach.
This role is ideal for engineers passionate about creating seamless workflows, safeguarding data, and building systems that deliver exceptional customer value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance Developer Workflows: Design and implement productive developer workflows, with a strong focus on automation.
- Continuous Integration & Deployment: Build, optimize, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Environment Design: Collaborate on the design of shared production and non-production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Data Security: Develop and implement processes to protect customer data, aligning with best practices and compliance standards.
- Incident Management: Participate in on-call rotations to handle emergencies and ensure system reliability.
- Team Contribution: Support the team with other duties and initiatives as assigned, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in each of the following:
- Proven experience in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing both Linux and Windows environments, including server provisioning, configuration, patch management, and monitoring to ensure system reliability and security.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using a variety of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent),
- Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure, including managing IaaS/PaaS resources, optimizing cost and performance, and implementing security best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, AKS), including deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications in production environments.
- Strong expertise in using version control systems (e.g., Git), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef), and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to automate software deployment and infrastructure changes.
- Experience in administering and optimizing databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or equivalent), including backup and recovery, query optimization, and performance tuning to support high-availability and data integrity.
Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000 - $130,000 annual base

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work experience and performance.
