Marketing & Sales Intern | Spring 2025

Grassroots Analytics' mission is to provide innovative data solutions to amplify forward-thinking voices, causes, and people.

Grassroots Analytics (“GA”) maintains a detailed database on more than 20 million active American donors, including data on net worth, ideological preferences, political donation history, non-profit donation history, demographics, and contact information. 

Grassroots Analytics is seeking an intern to assist on the Marketing and Sales team in the Spring semester of 2025. This role will include collaboration with our Marketing, Graphic Design, and Sales / Account Management teams. 

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Writing content for several newsletters and blogs
  • Creating content, ideas, and schedules for social media posts across platforms
  • Researching and pitching conferences and events for team members to attend
  • Researching, connecting with, and pitching sponsorship opportunities
  • Researching and contacting people who are running for office across the country
  • Learning about GA products and services, with the goal of pitching potential clients
  • Writing pitches and reaching out to potential clients via cold outreach
  • Preparing for and staffing events as needed 

Requested skills and experience: 

  • Campaign experience preferred, interest in political campaigns required
  • Marketing experience and/or coursework preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and be a team player 

This internship pays $17.50/hr for seniors and graduates plus a relocation stipend for those coming from outside the DMV area. For all others, the intern will receive a $2,000 stipend. The program will run from January 27th, to April 18th, 2025, with the opportunity to continue in the winter based on performance.
