We are looking for a Content Specialist to join our Marketing team! In this role, you will work closely with the Content & Research Lead to produce top-tier content for Grata’s blog, email, video, and ad channels. Your primary objective will be to promote the Grata brand and drive pipeline with high-quality content. The Content Specialist must have excellent writing skills and familiarity with SEO keyword research and best practices.
Grata is a hybrid company, which means our employees work from our NYC office (near Bryant Park) on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
At Grata, we will expect you to:
- Produce multiple blog articles each month based on targeted SEO keywords and topics relevant to private market M&A
- Support the Content & Research Lead on strategic content pieces (e.g., Grata’s PE Playbook reports, webinars) as needed
- Help scale Grata’s video content initiative by pitching new ideas and outlining scripts and collaborating on production and distribution
- Deliver content across multiple mediums, including blog posts, video, email, social, and gated assets, ensuring consistency in voice and messaging
- Repurpose high-performing content into new formats (e.g., turning a blog post into a video script, or a webinar into a whitepaper or social series) to extend its reach and impact
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to help inform Grata’s content
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a content writing, editorial, or marketing role
- Excellent written communication skills, as evidenced by a portfolio with a variety of samples
- Experience conducting targeted SEO keyword research
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Familiarity with private market M&A
- Strong research skills, including the ability to glean key insights from complex data
- A creative flair and ability to match Grata’s unique brand voice
- Experience with creating and editing video content is strongly preferred but not required

Grata is committed to providing competitive cash compensation and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in New York City, the estimated base salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
