Job Summary/Purpose: 

The People Operations Coordinator play a critical role in providing support to our Talent Acquisition and HR partners to provide coordination tasks for candidates and new hires This role will play a key part in ensuring interviews are logistically streamlined, help improve HR operations by completing the necessary tasks required for pre-boarding/onboarding new hires. 

Our ideal candidate is an individual who is organized, calm under pressure, intellectually curious and enjoys working in fast-paced environmentThis role will assist the People Team by handling administrative duties related to candidate administration, interview scheduling, offer letter generation, and managing pre-boarding and onboarding process. 

Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews 
  • Draft, distribute, and process employment documents while maintaining confidentiality amongst sensitive candidate/employee information  
  • Process background checks for new hires and escalate results when necessary 
  • Generate offer letters and ensure necessary agreements and information are sent to candidates on a timely basis 
  • Ensure all offer and employment documents are signed and stored in employee file 
  • Work with Payroll to administer changes in pay, start dates for new hires 
  • Thoroughly follow workflows and stay compliant in managing new hire paperwork   
  • Include tasks that may come in the future for existing employees or just include “Other duties may be assigned to best support administrative functions and support for our TA and HR Business Partners.  
  • Manage unemployment claims that come through our dedicated provider – following up for clarifying/missing details from our HR team 

 

Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of recruiting and or HR coordination or administrative experience  
  • Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills 
  • Resourceful, flexible, and ability to remain calm under pressure 
  • Excellent software skills including MS Office Suite, exposure to applicant tracking systems, HRIS, and ability to learn new skills quickly 
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal 
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions independently to share with the team 
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information 
  • Catches on to new ideas or processes quickly, or understand what kinds of questions to ask in order to quickly gain comprehension  

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Must pass any and all required background checks  
  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry  

 

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range

$24 - $28 USD
