THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Legal Specialist to our Legal team in São Paulo! 

This role is to join the Brazilian Legal team, responsible for providing high-level legal support to our evolving business operations. As a Legal Specialist, you will be expected to manage simple and complex contract negotiations evolving our Partners team, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks across multiple business areas. The position will work closely with regional leaders to refine our legal strategy and strengthen our contractual frameworks, besides of working with external firms to address litigation cases. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced team in a market that is really gaining momentum and we are excited to have a game-changer candidate to take our legal operations to the next level.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead and negotiate non-standard contracts and significant deviations from our templates, ensuring protection of company interests.
  • Draft and manage standard legal documents and policies with a focus on scalability and compliance.
  • Assess risks versus company objectives to facilitate smooth business negotiations and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive legal research initiatives to ensure compliance with evolving regulations and recommend regional best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to provide legal guidance on business initiatives and privacy data analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with external firms to address litigation cases.
  • Partner with regional programs to identify legal gaps and define effective action plans.
  • Design and automate contract workflows to improve efficiency and support business growth.

WHO YOU ARE

  • A qualified legal professional with a Juris Doctor degree and an active OAB license.
  • An experienced Legal Advisor with a solid track record in reviewing and drafting complex contracts, litigation support, and risk management within a corporate environment.
  • A detail-oriented researcher with deep knowledge of legal risk analysis and the ability to translate complex terms into business-friendly language.
  • A strong communicator with fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
  • A collaborative partner who can provide consulting services across multiple business areas while maintaining corporate FAQs and policies.
  • A versatile professional capable of supporting litigation processes across civil, consumer, and criminal law when necessary.
  • A true team player who thrives in a fast-paced organization and is comfortable managing multiple priorities and regional projects.
  • Fluent Portuguese and English is mandatory.
