Job Overview
Harbinger Motors are looking for an experienced GL Accountant with a strong accounting background in fixed assets and month-end close processes. This role will be responsible for managing and reporting on fixed assets, ensuring accurate and timely financial close activities, and performing leases. This role requires advanced analytical skills, extensive experience in accounting practices, a thorough understanding of GAAP, and the ability to influence financial decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and record recurring and non-standard journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, intangible assets, prepaids, and payroll-related accounts.
- Oversee the accounting and reporting for fixed assets and prepaids, ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP.
- Maintain and update the fixed assets and intangible asset roll-forward on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics teams to ensure accurate data recording.
- Analyze and explain monthly variances and fluxes.
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, and financial initiatives as needed.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA/CPA Eligibility preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience in fixed assets, month-end close and account balances reconciliation processes.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

California Pay Range
$100,000 - $110,000 USD
