The Case Analyst Team Lead is responsible for managing and developing a team of up to 15 Case Analysts, including performance reviews, coaching, goal setting, and performance notifications. They maintain medical case data analysis certifications and interpret CT imaging data to create 3D models. Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain accurate records, and adhere to quality standards. Manage projects involving case analysts, organize tasks independently, assist in hiring and manage team cultural events. In addition, Team leads identifies data trends and collaborate with other departments, ie. Training, Process Engineering, Technology, CTApps on developing process improvements and monitoring the production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 15 Case Analysts, including Sr Case Analysts and Staff Case Analysts
  • Review performance of direct reports for compensation, bonus and promotion purposes
  • Provide coaching and guidance to improve performance of team members
  • Meet monthly or more frequently to set goals for team members
  • Create and deliver performance management notifications in coordination with human resources
  • Encourage, Motivate and Guide team member growth and development
  • Maintain certifications to analyze and evaluate medical case data if needed
  • Interpret CT imaging data, per regulated process, to generate custom 3D computer models that are used for fluid dynamic simulations and sent to the customer for interpretation of patient outcome.
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment where all activities must be performed in compliance with the outlined procedures. Document and maintain accurate and detailed records of all work appropriately.
  • Perform visual inspection, determining conformance to applicable work instructions and adhering to quality standards.
  • Comfortable providing consultations to team members on CT image interpretation (per process) and providing feedback as needed.
  • Utilize our proprietary software tools to process and interpret diagnostic data
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of case analysis per process
  • SME - for all case levels, artifact types, and reconstructions used by customers
  • Identify trends in data for coaching or process improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate with other Team Leads, Site Supervisors, and Managers to monitor and improve Production as well as track and solve problems that arise.
  • Project team management and oversight of projects involving case analysts, sr case analysts and or staff case analysts
  • Ability to organize tasks and work independently on multiple projects, while achieving goals and deadlines.
  • Assist in interviewing and recommending for hiring of new production employees
  • Collaborate with other departments, ie. Training, Process Engineering, Technology , CTApps on developing process improvements and monitoring the production environment.
  • Comfortable and proficient with computers. Ability to distinguish user error from software bugs.
  • Prepare and manage team cultural events

Skills Needed:

  • Associate’s Degree, Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biology, biomedical engineering, healthcare administration) or equivalent work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex medical data
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and cardiovascular anatomy
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work in cross-functional teams.
  • Dedication towards continual improvement, using received feedback.
  • Experience with CAD and 3D modeling tools, graphics arts and computer animation software, or visual imaging software tools is also preferred.
  • Current Senior Case Analyst or higher
  • External applicants: minimum of 2 years prior management experience and ability to become certified in case processing.

Education and Work Experience:

All of the following is required:

  • All Case Analyst Certifications
  • Current Senior Case Analyst or higher or 2 years management experience
  • External applicants: minimum of 2 years prior management experience and ability to become certified in case processing.
  • Maintain high level of quality in monitoring program
  • Proven strong level of productivity

Only one of the following is required:

  • Radiology technology program
  • Computer-based technical program
  • BS/BA degree
  • Relevant medical imaging, 3D modeling, or visual inspection experience.

Special Working Conditions (if any):

  • This position requires flexibility of work hours and a willingness to work non-traditional hours, including weekends

The target range for our base salary for this level is $71,000 - $100,000 and bonus.
