Network Engineer (On-site)

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team! This position is a full-time role based in the office.
As the Network Engineer, you will be a dynamic contributor to IT Services team and will be working with the Senior Engineer on configurations and engineering of Routers, Switches, Wireless, VPNs, Firewalls and more.
Experience
- Implementing and maintaining complex Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and Wireless LANs.
- Working with various types of routers, core switches, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Good working knowledge of protocols including BGP, IBGP, OSPF, IPv4, and IPSEC.
- Supporting enterprise-level operational environments (alerting, troubleshooting, escalation).
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewall features such as Advanced Threat Prevention, Advanced URL Filtering, DNS Security, Policies and VPNs.
- Knowledge of supporting and configuring Palo Alto Global Protect.
- Experience building and supporting SolarWinds NPM, NCM, and NTA platforms.
- Experience of configuring VPN technologies including Global Protect and Prisma Access.
- Working knowledge of wireless solutions from HPE Aruba Wireless and NAC.
- Experience building AWS Networking solutions (IPSEC tunnel, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, Direct Connect Gateway).
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting SD-WAN platforms.
- Working knowledge and experience of Palo Alto’s Panorama platform.
- Python, Ansible or Terraform – Network automation skills is required.
- Experience with Management platforms for monitoring Network and Infrastructure.
Technology Support
- Next-Generation Firewalls: Palo Alto Networks and Prisma Access
- SD-WAN Platforms: Palo Alto Networks ION SD-WAN or other SD-WAN solutions
- Wireless Technologies: Cisco and Aruba Wireless
- Cloud Networking: AWS and Azure
- Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds NPM, NTA, NCM
Certifications Required
- CCNA Routing and Switching or Security
- PCNSA or equivalent Firewall Certification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and relevant experience of 2+ years.
Job Duties
- Actively monitor and support the ticket queue.
- Follow up with customers on support tickets to bring them to closure.
- Engage with multiple vendors to resolve network issues.
- Support, build, and test hardware integrations; manage cabling and server room maintenance.
- Network infra monitoring and maintenance
- Network Automation: Hands-on experience with at least one of the following automation frameworks:
- Python scripting for network tasks (e.g., using libraries like Netmiko, Paramiko, or Requests).
- Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
- Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Deploy Network Infrastructure
- Provide support to IT engineers and operations during business hours.
- On-Call rotation support.
- This role may require occasional after-hours support for critical network issues and maintenance.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $101,000 to $135,000 per year. #LI-Onsite
