JOB SUMMARY

HexArmor is seeking a Logistics & Operations Manager to support the launch and growth of our Mexico operations. This is a high-impact, multi-functional leadership role designed for someone who understands logistics as one part of a broader operational ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will lead operational execution across supply chain, inventory, systems, compliance, distribution, cost optimization, and customer delivery. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial leader who wants to grow with the company and eventually take on broader leadership responsibilities across regional operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain & Inventory Management

  • Lead inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies to support customer demand
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing working capital exposure
  • Own inventory accuracy, reconciliation, cycle counts, and inventory controls
  • Manage inventory aging, stock rotation, and slow-moving inventory action plans

Warehouse & Distribution Operations

  • Manage warehouse operations through third-party logistics (3PL) partners
  • Coordinate inbound receiving, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipments
  • Ensure service levels, shipping accuracy, and operational compliance across distribution partners
  • Monitor daily warehouse KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed

Warehouse Systems & ERP Integration

  • Manage warehouse operations through WMS and ERP platforms
  • Ensure transaction accuracy across inventory movements, receipts, shipping records, and billing
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through systems optimization

Import / Export & Customs Management

  • Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and trade partners
  • Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, classification, and compliance
  • Monitor tariff structures, duties, customs fees, and trade agreements
  • Identify opportunities to reduce landed costs through sourcing, routing, and trade optimization

Transportation & Freight Management

  • Oversee freight execution from supplier shipment through final customer delivery
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation activities
  • Monitor transit performance, freight claims, and carrier service levels
  • Proactively resolve transportation delays and service interruptions

Supplier & Customer Coordination

  • Serve as the operational link between suppliers, customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Support customer communication regarding order status, delivery timelines, and issue resolution
  • Maintain supplier communication regarding production schedules, shipping timelines, and service expectations
  • Participate in sales and operations planning activities to align inventory, purchasing, and customer demand

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Own and report key operational KPIs including:
    • Inventory accuracy
    • On-time delivery
    • Freight cost
    • Customs clearance time
    • Order fill rate
    • Inventory turns
    • Operating cost metrics
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools for management decision-making

Compliance & Cross-Functional Communication

  • Maintain strong communication with global operations, finance, sourcing, customer service, and leadership teams
  • Ensure local execution aligns with corporate operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and monitor customs and regulatory changes impacting the business

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, or distribution management
  • Strong knowledge of international trade, customs, and import/export processes
  • Experience with WMS, ERP, and operational reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, or similar platforms
  • Experience managing 3PL providers and external logistics partners
  • Strong understanding of landed costs, operational cost structures, and margin optimization
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Ability to travel as business needs require
