Supply Chain Specialist, 1st Shift

Due to our rapid growth, our success is directly dependent on attracting and retaining the best possible talent across our teams. To this end, we are posting for a strong Supply Chain Specialist. This role will be based on our Norton, MA facility.

 

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

 

The Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role in maintaining inventory health and ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient product flow in and out of third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses. This role supports daily operations by managing inbound and outbound inventory transactions, reconciling discrepancies, ensuring First Expired, First Out (FEFO) discipline, and coordinating logistics activities between HMF drivers and 3PL providers. This role will play a critical role with Inventory Health initiatives across all sites to with focus on at risk inventory.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across 3PL sites and ensure we maintain proper levels of inventory (Min/Max)
  • Track purchase orders of Raw and Co-pack inventory and respond to delays/issues
  • Process systematic transfers into 3PL (FG + Raw) ensuring integrity of batch numbers
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of inventory in all 3PL locations.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to missing or incorrect shipments and receipts.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances between ERP, 3PL reports, and physical stock.
  • Help coordinate truck pickups and deliveries between HMF drivers and 3PL carriers.

·         Evaluate at-risk and non-productive inventory and work cross-functionally to resolve inventory status and batch disposition issues for improved product flow.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, or warehouse operations (3PL exposure preferred).
  • Experience with ERP D365 (preferred) or WMS systems; ability to reconcile data between systems and reports.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
