We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our pioneering telehealth startup. As a senior leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology strategy, overseeing operational excellence, ensuring robust enterprise architecture, and safeguarding our information security practices. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the growth and success of our telehealth platform.
Responsibilities
- Azure Cloud Management: Oversee the management, optimization, and scaling of our EHR/EMR cloud infrastructure.
- EHR/EMR Platform Stewardship: Serve as the primary custodian of our EHR/EMR platform, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and seamless operation.
- IT Operations: Manage the IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and endpoints, to maintain a robust, secure, and efficient environment.
- Security and Compliance: Implement robust security practices and compliance measures to protect sensitive healthcare data.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and ensure the business can continue to operate in adverse conditions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and security, to align technology operations with company goals.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technology operations processes, procedures, and system architecture.
- Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Implement monitoring and analysis tools to proactively detect issues, optimize performance, and prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Proven SRE experience (5+ years) in a highly complex, mission-critical environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud technologies with proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex architecture within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including experience with security audits, risk assessments, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Background in managing EHR/EMR systems in a healthcare or similar environment is a strong plus.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar, are a strong plus.
The compensation range for this role is $120,000-140,000.
