About the Role
iCapital is looking for a Vice President who will support the iCapital Marketplace business by working with General Partners throughout a fund’s lifecycle. Specifically, this individual will present the Marketplace and demo the site to prospective clients, coordinate new product launches, collaborating with various internal departments in a project management capacity, train new clients to use the platform effectively to drive sales; provide reporting to and gather feedback from existing clients on a regular basis, and develop new feature enhancements to improve the Marketplace experience. This candidate will report to the head of iCapital Marketplace in support of our broader distribution effort.
Responsibilities
- Present Marketplace and demo the site to prospective General Partner clients in new business meetings.
- Lead new product rollout, collaborating closely with key internal and external stakeholders across three phases:
- Pre-launch: contracting, pricing, product education, sales planning, and custodial connectivity.
- Launch: marketing rollout and GP engagement.
- Post-launch: pipeline management, GP coordination, and closing process.
- Train new General Partner clients to use the platform’s functionality to track user engagement and drive sales activity; inviting users, identifying top prospects, managing announcements, etc.
- Coordinate regular meetings with existing General Partner clients to support their efforts and optimize their chances of success and seek feedback to improve the Marketplace offering.
- Work closely with iCapital’s technology team to develop new features to enhance the user experience for General Partners and their clients.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with alternative investment offerings. Experience managing complex projects associated with fund launches and capital raises is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Familiar with Salesforce and Tableau or other business intelligence tools is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment and consistently meet deadlines
- A high performer who exhibits dedication and commitment and enjoys collaborating with other teams in pursuit of positive client outcomes
- A high level of professionalism and credibility to present to and influence senior executives within iCapital and its network of clients and partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
