About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Senior Vice President to join the iCapital Solutions team, specifically focused on relationship management amongst the service providers of the company’s largest Asset and Wealth Management clients. This position will play a key role in assisting with the management, development, and maintenance of our current third-party partnerships including custodians, transfer agents and administrators, and will work closely with other senior members of the Platform Partnerships team and internal stakeholders.
This is a critical, technical role, for which relevant experience is required, focused on the delivery and ongoing support of iCapital’s full suite of technology solutions, spanning alternatives and structured investments, to the independent wealth channel and enterprise partners. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing our company’s strategy in establishing strategic partnerships that extend access to and further embed iCapital as part of the Wealth Management ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Create a strategic business plan for operational coverage of our largest service providers and partners including custodians, transfer agents, and administrators.
- Serve as senior relationship stakeholder for the management of these relationships and integration and execution of partnership proposals.
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships with senior leaders throughout the organization and promote mutually beneficial relationships between partners and the organization.
- Collaborate with all appropriate parties to ensure effective execution of goals and initiatives.
- Collaborate with management to determine internal and external vendor reporting requirements and enforce the delivery of accurate and timely information.
- Analyze partner performance data on a regular basis and perform follow-up activities to ensure partners adhere to company quality measures.
- Coordinate regular performance reviews with partners and communicate needed improvements.
- Organize in-person quarterly meetings with all partners to review the relationship status, discuss the state of the union, address any current material issues, and discuss business updates and opportunities on both sides.
- Maintain broad influence through the ongoing development of relationships across the organization.
- Drive process improvement, in part by organizing ongoing partner and prospect requests, and leveraging available technology.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in an administrator/vendor management, business development, or relationship management capacity
- Strong commercial knowledge on industry standards and the competitive process
- Leverage existing relationships and build strong new relationships
- Demonstrated leadership and management abilities including project management and strong detail-orientation
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated capabilities to build trust, and strategically manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Entrepreneurial approach to managing projects with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; able to create simple, compelling narratives for senior audience
- Highly collaborative, experience working within a matrix global organization, managing and coordinating teams across different locations
- Strong appetite to work in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Self-motivated with a hands-on attitude and steered by high ethical standards
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
