About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Client Retention and Growth Vice President to play a key role in working with existing clients, Delivery teams, relationship managers, legal and sales leadership to retain clients. The primary responsibility is to manage the contract renewal process as well as work alongside the Delivery teams to handle any upsell opportunities that are identified through our BAU activities. This individual will be responsible for tracking all contracts that are coming up for renewal, coordinating with the respective delivery team and ensuring that a new contract is executed prior to expiration. This role will also be responsible for handling all upsell related activities including pricing, SOW drafting and execution
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with clients proactively in advance of their renewal date. Prepare a list of expiring contracts by month to ensure efficient execution.
- Meet with and identify upsell opportunities with team leads throughout the Data Solutions organization. Assist with stand and Ad-hoc meetings to uncover, scope, price and execute upsells.
- Conduct exit interviews with clients who decide not to renew to gain insights into their reasons for leaving. Track and analyze trends in client feedback.
- Monitor upsell trends by categorizing clients based on type and the Data Solutions services they use. Identify patterns and opportunities for upselling.
Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in relationship management, preferably within the financial technology industry or operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and able to build rapport quickly
- Be creative and have a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Able to adapt to evolving market conditions and client needs
- Persistent and self-motivated, with a drive to achieve goals
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
