About the Role
iCapital is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Strategy professional to join the Data Solutions team. This role will be pivotal in supporting the growth and expansion of iCapital’s enterprise presence across various channels. The ideal candidate will act as a generalist, collaborating across teams to develop and execute firmwide initiatives, with a focus on driving new business, providing technical expertise, and supporting executive leadership.
This individual will play a key role in analyzing market trends, developing strategic initiatives, and supporting sales efforts within iCapital’s Data Solutions offerings. As a generalist, the role requires versatility in creating pricing models, custom proposal development, and competitive positioning—ensuring that proposals are aligned with client needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials in support of a variety of executive-level initiatives within the Data Solutions organization.
- Support executive sales leadership with strategic and enterprise level proposals, including project scoping, pricing strategy, pricing models, workflow design, and prospect presentation.
- Create visualizations and presentations for executive board meetings like quarterly business review, pricing committee, and town halls, etc.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends, and competition in both reporting and alternative data management service lines. Assist with the creation and development of materials to illustrate plans and goals for executive leadership.
- Create pitch decks and custom proposal materials, mainly for enterprise level prospects.
- Be a subject matter expert in all things iCapital Data Solutions; a representative for the internal business unit, acting as a bridge between other iCapital business units and products.
- Conduct demos of alternative data management technology and reporting systems to core, strategic, and enterprise prospects; inclusive of internal demos to expand existing relationships.
- Support sales leadership through the entire sales process including project scoping, pricing strategy, pricing models, workflow design, and prospect presentation.
- Act as a generalist, assisting all Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance business units in creating presentations and visualizations for executive board meetings, quarterly business reviews, pricing committees, and town halls).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of client service or relevant financial industry experience
- Excellent client relation skills and the ability to foster and maintain exceptional client service
- Well-organized and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet urgent deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Wealth Management’s products, policies, and practices
- Knowledge of alternative investment lifecycles is preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining an organized approach to duties and responsibilities
- Devotion to collaboration and ability to thrive in a team environment while working independently
- Must be proactive in assessing and acting upon client and company needs
- Able to evaluate, manage, and resolve unexpected and complex situations
- High degree of flexibility and professionalism in a demanding, expanding and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable with learning and leveraging new technologies to drive efficiency and scalability
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $110,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
