Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: McLean, Virginia office (5 days/week)
ID.me is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide essential legal and administrative support across various corporate matters. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth legal operations through precise document management, research, and organizational support.

Responsibilities
- Gather and manage due diligence materials, including corporate certificates of good standing.
- Identify and escalate critical legal issues or changes to the appropriate team members.
- Organize, maintain, and track legal documents, contracts, and records to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and data protection regulations.
- Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and other key documents.
- Manage and track key dates and deadlines related to legal filings, contract renewals, and compliance matters.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including certified letters and documents requiring wet signatures.
- Maintain legal calendars and deadlines to support workflow efficiency.
- Provide general corporate support, including organizing and maintaining legal files and folders.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role, preferably in a corporate or law firm setting.
- Strong proficiency in document editing and Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe.
- Ability to independently prioritize tasks and make necessary document adjustments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Virginia Notary or willingness to become one.
