
Contract: Manager, Lab Operations

Our pipeline also includes IM-1617, IM-1335, and IM-1340, all of which are preclinical ADCs pursuing undisclosed targets with expression in multiple solid tumors.
Position Overview
The Contract: Manager, Lab Operations role is responsible for identifying and performing technical and administrative tasks on a day-to-day basis in support of the lab's research and operational needs. This role coordinates equipment maintenance, ensures adequate supplies are available, understands lab safety programs to support compliance with all applicable regulations, makes recommendations for changes, and maintains inventory of laboratory furniture and equipment. The Contract Laboratory Coordinator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day laboratory activities and ensuring the highest standards of safety. This position will report to the AD of Facilities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, facility repairs, and providing various resources to personnel.
- Support compliance with safety protocols and regulations and assist with providing a safe working environment for all research staff.
- Contribute to laboratory improvement initiatives, taking the lead on projects when possible.
- Respond to laboratory alerts (temperature breaches, power outages, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Participate in shipping and receiving activities as needed (DOT and IATA HazMat training provided).
- Coordinate quarterly lab cleans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology) or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience in laboratory management within the biotechnology industry.
Knowledge and Skills
- Operational knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques, as well as safety and regulatory compliance.
- Communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in laboratory software
