Marketing Manager 

 

The opportunity  

This role is suitable for an energetic and high-performing B2B marketing professional to be part of Advisory marketing team supporting the Advisory businesses, Putnam, Vynamic, Research Partnership & STEM.  This role will deliver best-in-class brand and marketing initiatives that support our businesses in growing their brand profiles, engagement in the market (& with clients) to drive revenue growth. 

In this role you will ideally be located near one of our offices in Manchester, Ashby-de-la-Zouch or London. You will operate on a hybrid basis.

Reporting structure 

This role will report to the Director of Global Brand & Marketing Strategy, Inizio Advisory.   

 

Core responsibilities 

Marketing Planning and Execution 

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and demand generation strategies to enhance brand visibility, establish a reputation in our core fields, drive client acquisition, and support business growth, in alignment with business objectives. 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, particularly the leadership and commercial teams, to ensure that marketing strategies and execution plans are integrated with overall business objectives and effectively support organizational goals. 

 

Campaign and Demand Generation Management  

  • Ideate, develop and implement campaigns, go to market programs and marketing initiatives to grow target audience engagement and drive interest in priority solutions.  
  • Collaborate with the client facing teams to evolve marketing strategy and tactical planning in order to maximize lead generation and deepen client relationships. 

 

Marketing Channel Ownership & Coordination 

  • Plan, manage, coordinate the businesses online and offline marketing activities, including website development, social media engagement, email campaigns, PR & media, events, sponsorships and personal brand building of the relevant business leaders.  
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing and sales enablement collateral, thought leadership content (creation and re-purposing) and client communications.  

 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Director and Business Leadership Teams to align with business strategies, needs, and priorities. 
  • Build relationships with senior stakeholders to provide strategic marketing advice and industry insights. 
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external senior stakeholders, enhancing the marketing ecosystem's value and impact. 

 

Event Management 

  • Focus on coordinating and implementing various events, such as presence at sponsorship events, co-host with third parties (e.g. industry bodies), and running targeted events (in- person or virtual) to support sales activities or strengthen customer relationships. 

 

 

 

Internal Engagement 

  • Collaborate and ideate with colleagues across the Global group marketing ecosystem, and other relevant internal teams, ensuring our brands are adequately represented in Group connected campaigns and strategic initiatives. 

 

Measure and Reporting 

  • Monitor, analyze, report, and provide recommendations on performance across all channels, including lead generation and business wins.  

 

Wider Advisory initiatives as required 

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Requirements: 

  • A creative and strategic thinker with a passion for marketing and a proven track record of driving results, especially within the B2B landscape. 
  • Strong leadership and communications skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and different business cultures. 
  • Energetic, driven, and self-motivated with the willingness to be proactive and take ownership of strategic marketing efforts. 
  • Deep understanding of the variety of marketing channels and tactics available that are engaging and relevant to the business needs, campaign objectives and target audience. 
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills across asset types, including written content, deck presentation, and other rich content formats.  
  • Confidence in briefing activities internally and externally with clear and concise direction. 
  • Strong organizational & project management skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
