Overview of the role

Reporting to the Head of the Programmatic Trading Desk Development team, this critical role sits at the intersection of strategy, marketing, and programmatic advertising and is responsible for developing and growing InMobi’s relationships across programmatic trading desks across North America. The Manager of Programmatic Trading Desk Development will work collaboratively across disciplines to develop deeper programmatic enablement and growth in support of InMobi’s product and revenue goals.

You will be responsible for initiating, building, & driving revenue growth by solving customer problems with data-driven strategies through key relationships across programmatic, trading, operations, analytics, and marketplaces. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive market strategies, support overall agency product enablement, and contribute to a world-class team and culture.

The Manager of PTD Development is essential to the North American team and platform demand organization, driving critical customer insights and shaping strategic solutions that directly impact our programmatic success. As a trusted programmatic leader, you'll forge key client partnerships, leverage high-impact data insights, and independently lead initiatives to elevate our presence and performance across the region.

The role will be based in-market and onsite in our NYC office, reporting to the Global Head of PTD Development, and focused 80% externally with customers and 20% internally on cross-functional management of key stakeholders. *Some travel is required for client meetings and events as needed.


The impact you’ll make

As a subject matter expert, you'll be responsible for initiating, building, and maintaining relationships with programmatic trading desks.

  • Develop business strategies to acquire new clients and retain and grow existing clients with assigned accounts
  • Manage programmatic operations and activation relationships with agency trading desks and DSP client services teams across North America.
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic thinking by partnering with key internal stakeholders, e.g. regional agency teams (NA, APAC, EMEA), sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure consistency across global markets
  • Create innovative offerings and strategies for growing the programmatic side of the business across the region, staying relevant and in sync with market demand
  • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to external trading teams by conducting L&D sessions 
  • Design and lead quarterly business reviews with partners - some travel required as needed
  • Deliver revenue growth for the portfolio of clients across all channels on InMobi Exchange

The experience we need

  • 6+ years of high proficiency experience focused on account management or demand partnerships within the programmatic ad tech ecosystem (ie. ad exchanges, DSPs, data partnerships/verification vendors, or agency trading desks
  • Expertise in driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding presence across key agency partners in the region
  • Exceptional analytical skills, high level of experience, and comfort with big data, and a creative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to distill key business insights from data to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strength in building cross-functional relationships, developing insights, managing projects, and articulating success
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot as needed across multicultural environments
  • Familiarity with industry tools and software, including Power BI or similar platforms like Excel and Salesforce, ad servers, DSPs, and other CRM systems, and proven competency in data analysis and logical reasoning
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline is required, or equivalent experience. An MBA or a Master's degree is a plus.

The base salary (fixed) pay range for this role would range from $111,264—$148,000 USD (min to max of base salary pay range). This salary range is applicable to our offices located in California and New York*. In addition, an InMobian may also receive variable pay in the form of an annual variable bonus or quarterly variable bonus/sales incentive, as deemed per policy, in addition to fixed compensation.

*Our ranges may vary based on the final location and region of the role in accordance with the geographical differentiation in pay scales in the country.

In addition to cash compensation, based on the position, an InMobian can receive equity in the form of a stock grant known as Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
