About the Team
The Global sales & revenue analytics team is responsible to upscale the org towards data driven strategic decision making by adding the intelligence layer on top of InMobi’s robust and complex data - to unlock the revenue potential through analytics, storytelling, and go-to-market strategy. This intelligence layer will be consumed towards realizing efficiencies, unlocking productivity, assessing the health of each of our global revenue units.
Overview of the Role
As an Intern on the Revenue Strategy team, you will help drive key strategic initiatives that power revenue growth and operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, customer success, product, and finance), you’ll gain hands-on experience in leveraging data and AI-driven insights to improve processes, connect supply and demand data sources, and review full-funnel metrics. This role is an excellent opportunity to explore end-to-end revenue operations, develop analytical skills, and build a foundation for a career in strategy and operations.
Responsibilities
1. Process & Project Support
- Assist in Process Improvements: Collaborate with senior team members to map existing sales, marketing, and customer success processes; identify simple enhancements that could streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Project Coordination: Help coordinate cross-functional projects—such as AI transformation and data integration—to ensure timely progress and clear communication among stakeholders.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of initiative milestones, best practices, and process changes to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
2. Data & Analytics
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Pull data from CRM, marketing automation, and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Tableau) to support the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical models.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and track key revenue metrics (pipeline, churn, customer engagement) to help the team identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- AI/ML Exposure: Learn how AI and machine learning tools can enhance forecasting and decision-making, supporting senior team members in running analyses and interpreting results.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Team Alignment: Work with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure data consistency and clarity around key metrics.
- Workshops & Meetings: Participate in strategic planning sessions, helping with preparation, note-taking, and follow-ups to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Communication: Draft status updates and presentations that summarize key findings, progress, and recommendations for both internal and external stakeholders.
4. Learning & Development
- Mentorship: Take advantage of one-on-one guidance from senior leaders in Revenue Strategy & Operations to deepen your understanding of full-funnel metrics and best practices.
- Skills Building: Enhance your analytical, project management, and communication skills through hands-on experience and formal training sessions.
- Innovation Mindset: Stay curious about AI-driven solutions and emerging tools; share any ideas or new technologies you discover that could benefit the team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
- Analytical Aptitude: Comfortable working with data (in Excel, Google Sheets, or BI platforms) and eager to learn more advanced analytics tools.
- Technical Exposure: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus; a desire to learn about AI/ML-driven analytics is highly valued.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment; willingness to ask questions and share ideas.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with high attention to detail.
- Growth Mindset: Enthusiasm for learning, problem-solving, and experimenting with new approaches and technologies.
