We are seeking a Program Analyst to support the UHPO Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) program. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience and demonstrated expertise in Acquisition Program Management within an aviation-focused product manager, project office, or program executive office environment.
Preferred qualifications include prior service as a U.S. Army Aviation UH-60 Standardization Pilot or Commander at the Battalion level or higher, as well as a proven background in managing TADSS in a similar organizational structure. This role requires a deep understanding of Army aviation operations and acquisition processes to effectively support the program’s objectives.
• Note: This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance at the time of application.
Position requirements:
• Provide technical expertise and contract oversight for foreign military sales projects for aviation flight simulators and training devices.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings, actions, and collaborations for a aviation TADSS enterprise with all applicable Army Aviation and foreign military stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient information communications to and from aviation customers to senior executive management coordinating and participating in periodic meetings such as Production Readiness Reviews, System Requirements Reviews, and other Army acquisition meetings and events.
• Coordinate program office site visits within the TADSS enterprise for flight simulator upgrades and cyclical accreditations amongst US Army Aviation and Foreign Countries customers.
• Subject matter expert (SME) for UH-60 A/L/M training for fright simulators, training devices, computer-based training, virtual reality platforms, and system integration laboratories.
• Prepare, facilitate, and support functional integrated product team meetings, briefings, for senior level review.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required and 16 years’ experience as a US Army Aviator (preferred)
• Experience in Product, Project, or Program Office Operations.
• Ability to organize and lead effectively
• Aviation TADSS experience preferred
• Advanced understanding of U.S. Army aviation and training.
• Advance knowledge of developing solutions in support of aviation training products, visualizations, training devices, and flight simulators.
• Demonstrated ability to apply program management experience to recommend system improvements and increase training effectiveness
• Previously US Army UH60L/M pilot qualified (preferred)
• Previously US Army UH60L/M Instructor Pilot (IP) qualified (preferred)
• Previously US Army Instrument Examiner (IE) Qualified or FAA Certified Instrument Instructor, Rotary Wing (CFII) Certified (preferred)
• Served as a US Army Aviation UH60 Standardization Pilot or Commander at the Battalion level or higher (preferred)
• 3-5 years and experience and demonstrated knowledge of Acquisition Program Management working in an aviation product manager office, project office, or program executive office (preferred)
• 3-5 years and experience and demonstrated knowledge of managing Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) working in a product manager office, project office, or program executive office (preferred)
Travel: May require travel up to 30%.
