Position Summary
The Account Specialist is the face of the Company to our customers. Customer Service Representatives are responsible for maintaining great working relationships with our clients and handling their day-to-day business needs.
Principle Accountabilities
- Oversee client accounts, provide exemplary and personal service to a variety of customers
- Assist in order processing, leveraging several different digital platforms
- Control effective communications for your accounts by acting as a liaison between your customer and the warehouse operations team. This includes:
- Communication of inbound/outbound demand and special customer needs
- Working with ITS’ Fleet and Freight Brokerage to better serve your customers
- Providing consistent and professional communication with clients regarding the status of their orders or special projects
- Act in your client’s best interests, anticipate their needs and provide proactive insight and solutions to their business challenges
- Understand and act in accordance with client contracts, perform basic billing and auditing
- Create and maintain documented standard operating procedures specific to your clients
Position Requirements
Requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Proficiency with automated information systems to research and resolve client related issues
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written skills (phone etiquette and fluency in English required)
- Must possess excellent problem diagnosis and resolution skills
- Willingness to go “above and beyond” in the spirit of client support
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
