Job/Role Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Project Manager Intern to support the successful operational execution of client accounts and build a knowledge management system. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and has experience managing complex, cross-functional service delivery initiatives for our healthcare clients.

We are looking for a business and operations-focused project leader who understands how to drive execution across client-facing healthcare operations, service delivery, implementation, and operational workflows. The Project Manager will partner closely with internal teams to ensure projects, deliverables, implementations, and operational initiatives are executed effectively, on time, and with high quality.

The ideal candidate brings a strong ownership mindset, excellent stakeholder management skills, structured project management discipline, and the ability to operate with urgency and clarity in ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support & Delivery

  • Support the execution and operational tactical management of key specialty care client accounts
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful delivery of client initiatives, implementations, and operational projects
  • Partner with client-facing leaders to maintain strong client engagement, communication, and follow-through
  • Track deliverables, risks, dependencies, timelines, and action items across multiple client workstreams

Project Management

  • Build and manage detailed project plans, implementation timelines, tracking logs, status updates, and execution trackers
  • Assist project meetings, working sessions, and operational reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accountability across teams and proactively escalate blockers or risks

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Collaborate on documenting and standardizing end-to-end operational processes, workflows, SOPs, playbooks, and best practices across cross-functional teams to improve scalability, consistency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Support building, organizing, and maintaining a centralized knowledge management system that ensures employees have easy access to accurate documentation, training materials, playbooks, templates, and process updates.
  • Apply project management methodologies to improve operational efficiency, standardization, executive-ready project updates, implementation summaries, and operational status reports
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce operational friction, and improve service delivery quality

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in or pursuing a Master’s Degree at an accredited university or college
  • Prior internship or project-based experience in business strategy, consulting, healthcare, analytics, finance, operations, or related fields preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in healthcare, value-based care, or technology-enabled healthcare services
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, collaboration, and ownership mentality

Preferred requirements:

  • Ownership mindset – you take accountability for outcomes, not just tasks
  • “Get it done” mentality – high sense of urgency, bias toward action
  • Smart hustle – able to move quickly while prioritizing what matters most
  • Comfort with complexity and ambiguity – thrives in challenging, unstructured environments
  • Assertive communicator – able to push, influence, and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Growth mindset – seeks feedback, continuously improves, and adapts quickly

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
