New

SEO Analyst

Berlin

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG), is the world’s leading travel search engine. With billions of queries across our platforms, we help people find their perfect flight, stay, rental car and vacation package. We’re also transforming business travel with a new corporate travel solution, KAYAK for Business.

As an employee of KAYAK, you will be part of a travel company that operates a portfolio of global metasearch brands including momondo, Cheapflights and HotelsCombined, among others. From start-up to industry leader, innovation is in our DNA and every employee has an opportunity to make their mark. Our focus is on building the best travel search engine to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

KAYAK is looking for an SEO Analyst to join our team in Berlin! You will play a key role in driving large-scale organic growth and visibility through both on-page and technical SEO—across traditional search engines and within Large Language Model (LLM) ecosystems. Blending creativity with data-driven analysis, you’ll find opportunities to improve landing pages, page components, and site architecture, while conducting technical audits and competitor research to enhance impact. You’ll also track industry trends and performance insights, sharing actionable findings with wider SEO team and collaborators.

In this role, you will:

  • Help set and implement the SEO strategy for 36 domains (in 33 countries) with up to 8 travel verticals each. The largest being KAYAK.com
  • Continually test and iterate on landing page templates, modules and content to improve both user experience (e.g. conversion, bounce), SERP performance (e.g. CTR, rankings) and LLM visibility.
  • Whilst you’ll be involved in the full spectrum of organic search you will mainly focus on: Optimising our product for both SEO and UX, keyword analysis for onsite improvements and new landing page opportunities, CTR experiments, content creation strategies & technical SEO audits.
  • Work closely with our dedicated SEO engineering team to optimize and improve our SEO product landing pages and drive product development to make real business impact.
  • Continuously evaluate the impact of evolving SEO trends, search engine algorithm changes, AI advancements, and its impacts on SEO and LLM search visibility. Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively refine strategies in response to ongoing industry shifts.
  • Set clear briefs and requirements, testing schedules and delivering post-implementation analysis back to the wider team and business.
  • Coordinate your efforts in the team and with partners across the global organization (e.g. Marketing and Business Development).
  • Work with a variety of sophisticated internal and external SEO tools to analyze opportunities, quantify performance and monitor competitors.
  • Contribute your own ideas and be a highly credible and influential member of the organization.

Please apply if:

  • You have a proven track record in the SEO industry (preferably with an in-house team), background in travel or ecommerce SEO preferred.
  • A strategic understanding of large-scale SEO: projects that scale globally and bring measurable results; optimizing the crawling, indexing & “page rank” distribution of large enterprise websites.
  • You monitor the latest developments within SEO but only believe what you have challenged yourself.
  • You have a familiarity and strong curiosity about AI technologies and SEO tooling (Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming frog, Chat GPT, Gemini)
  • You are organised and meticulous but also implement at a fast pace. You take initiative, ownership and accountability, and are able to develop a project independently once goals are set.
  • You have strong understanding of and experience in technical SEO and are proficient in modern front end markup (e.g HTML; Schema, CSS, JS etc)
  • Product management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can write clear briefs and have a structured and organized approach.
  • Excellent quantitative skills – proficiency with numbers and data analysis is needed.
