Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Travel Advisor Channel Marketing to lead the development and execution of marketing programs that support our North American Outside Sales team, drive travel advisor engagement, and deepen brand loyalty. This senior leader will design and deliver high-impact B2B campaigns, an industry-leading loyalty program, and best-in-class strategic events — ensuring Kensington remains the preferred luxury tour operator for travel professionals across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Enablement & B2B Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and lead a B2B marketing strategy aligned with sales goals, market trends, and brand priorities
  • Build and execute tailored campaigns, sales tools, and presentations to support Outside Sales in driving conversion and advisor acquisition
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leadership to align goals, identify needs, and track impact

Loyalty & Advisor Engagement

  • Design and launch a differentiated loyalty program that recognizes, rewards, and retains high-performing travel advisors and attracts new advisors, funded by coop initiatives
  • Create lifecycle marketing journeys and CRM strategies to deepen engagement and repeat business from advisors
  • Leverage segmentation and personalization to drive targeted messaging across the advisor base

Strategic Events & Partnerships

  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic B2B events, including trade shows, advisor appreciation trips, co-branded activations, and hosted panels
  • Oversee all aspects of event marketing — pre-event promotion, on-site experience, and post-event conversion
  • Cultivate key partnerships within the luxury travel community and industry associations to elevate brand presence

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing B2B marketing team
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Brand, Digital, CRM, Product, and Sales
  • Report on KPIs and deliver ongoing insight into campaign performance, advisor engagement, and sales enablement effectiveness

 

Success Metrics

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Increase in qualified advisor leads and acquisition driven by B2B campaigns
  • Growth in advisor engagement and trip volume via the loyalty program
  • Advisor retention rate and repeat sales year-over-year
  • Event ROI, including attendance rates, conversion metrics, and NPS
  • Sales team satisfaction with marketing tools and support (measured via quarterly survey)
  • Revenue attribution from B2B marketing initiatives and coop-funded campaigns
  • Team performance and development, including hiring, retention, and engagement

 

90-Day Plan

Month 1: Discover & Align

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews across Sales, Product, and Marketing teams
  • Audit current B2B marketing, loyalty, and event programs
  • Analyze advisor segments, CRM data, and top-performing sales tools
  • Align on KPIs and strategic priorities with SVP, Marketing and Sales leaders

Month 2: Design & Prioritize

  • Present updated B2B marketing strategy framework and loyalty program blueprint
  • Identify quick-win enhancements for current advisor communication and lifecycle campaigns
  • Define 12-month B2B calendar including events, campaigns, and seasonal pushes
  • Begin building foundational collateral to support Outside Sales

Month 3: Activate & Lead

  • Launch loyalty program pilot or enhancement plan
  • Roll out first strategic campaign and/or event activation
  • Establish B2B performance dashboard and reporting cadence
  • Begin hiring or restructuring team as needed to support long-term growth

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 in a senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in the travel industry, with deep understanding of the luxury segment and travel advisor landscape
  • Demonstrated success in supporting large field sales teams, developing loyalty programs, and executing high-end B2B events
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical acumen and a bias for action
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
