Delivery Driver

Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of delivery driver in our Sacramento location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!

Responsibilities: 

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service and answering questions
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license issued by the state.
• Clean driving record.
• Some warehouse/driver experience preferred.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.

If you possess a strong work ethic and the desire to learn, experience is not required. We are willing to train those who are career minded.
