The Product Operations team ensures KnowBe4’s Product processes and systems runs at maximum efficiency. Operations is heavily involved in the execution of initiatives and resolving inefficiencies. As the Product Operations Manager within Product Operations, you are instrumental to drive critical initiative improvement projects in Product. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Product Departments heavily focused on Product Management and Product Services to drive execution on critical initiatives.
Responsibilities:
With some Leadership oversight, apply the following:
- Set Standards: Work with Director of Product Operations to build out and establish a set standards for Product Operations Team for managing operations initiatives, documentation standards, tracking status of initiatives, and reporting work
- Process Improvement and Analysis: Design, document, and optimize key business processes within Product organization with the appropriate subject matter experts and any cross-functional teams that extend beyond Product.
- Use disciplines such as business analysis, workflow mapping methods (such as BPMN 2.0), Lean Six Sigma, and Change Management methodologies to identify operational improvement opportunities and recommend initiatives that drive higher operational efficiency. This will include comprehensive research with a clear business case provided.
- Responsible for learning and understanding Product operations processes that may extend beyond just product management, including interactions with other departments.
- Design Solution with Stakeholders: Ability to comfortably interview stakeholders and critically analyze data from workflows in order to properly document processes. Relationship with stakeholders across the company will be important for this role.
- Collaborate with Product leaders to automate or improve processes with Product technology solutions
- Create and maintain documentation to ensure they remain up to date as changes are required.
- There are additional functions that could potentially evolve into this role including but not limited to creating board decks, supporting budgeting management, conference deck creations, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in process improvement role with a focus on business process mapping and heavy focus on documentation creation and management (Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Onboarding Guides, etc.)
- Lean Six Sigma certification, Change Management certification/training preferred
- Project Management experience, preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including a high level of attention to detail, negotiation skills, and active listening, required.
- Go-getter attitude with a proactive approach.
- Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent communicator with strong leadership skills.
- Eager to learn and understand processes.
- Adaptable to change in the role and overall division
- Strong executer - speed is very important for this role
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
