2025 – Supply Chain, Insights and Automation

We are currently seeking a student intern to join our team. As an intern, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Department, focused on Insights and Automation. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to juniors or seniors within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with some in-office time preferred. (will change based on job function)

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the Specialist of Business Operations and Performance in the development and execution of overall supply chain strategies and operations through digitization and automation. This analytical role, focusing on automation and streamlining, will allow the team to maximize process effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. This role will support the development and implementation of performance management tools for KPIs, financials, and processes. This role reports to Specialist – Business Operations and Performance, Supply Chain Management.

An ideal candidate would:

  • Play an integral role in advancing analytical and data science capabilities for the SCM group.
  • Support the establishment of business processes, performance and leverage new connections in SCM, Manufacturing and cross-functional
  • Driving Analytical Capabilities – Utilize data to establish tools and processes to track the SCM Team’s business performance and results.
  • Play a critical role in answering business questions using innovative analytic techniques by leveraging the group's existing analytical capabilities, standards, processes, and methodologies supporting the evolution of these processes and analytics.
  • Play a role in strategy development and technical execution strategy (performance mgmt. process)
  • Support the implementation of Continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Support Strengthening of Partnerships - Play an important role in developing and strengthening the relationship between SCM and its key stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • Digitization and Automation – utilize current MS tools and other digital capabilities (Control Tower, BI, D365) to automate and streamline reporting, processes, and performance management.
  • Data Analytics- Gathers & analyzes data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization’s supply chain operations. Assists in the creation/ refinement/ and evolution of data analytics for the department (KPIs, Budget, etc.). 
  • Financial & Data Analysis – structure/manipulate/evaluate financial and/or Operations data to summarize and propose conclusions. Support and maintain processes to measure SCM performance and diagnose issues with recommended solutions.
  • Presentation Development & Overall Communications – track and summarize SCM Team Activities in a format that can be easily presented within the organization. Support in developing ideas or stories into cohesive presentations for delivery including written communication materials and delivery plans.
  • Continuous Improvement- evaluate CI opportunities and support implementing CI and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Other duties as may be assigned – including process and system development, implementation, and other SCM team management/leadership.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior Completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Computer Science or Data Sciences or equivalent experience.  Specific study in data analytics preferred.
  • Experience with the application of digital tools and leveraging technology capabilities.
  • Experience with data science, analytics, modeling platforms, data engineering software and visualization tools.
  • Strongly Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to multi-task essential; ability to support multiple projects within different facets of supply chain
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to zoom in and out to solve problems; out of the box thinking is a plus
  • Strong Communication & Problem-Solving Skills
  • Self-discipline for planning, organizing tasks and with demonstrated ability to lead/support multiple projects and priorities.
  • High motivation, good work ethic, maturity, and personal initiative
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 27th, 2025 through August 15th, 2025
  • This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • This position requires that candidates be able to work in the United States on a permanent and on-going basis without sponsorship
