The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Manager, Hospitality Inventory Analyst
The LA28 Commercial Hospitality team is pioneering a modernized approach to the Olympic and Paralympic hospitality experience, delivering unparalleled access to once-in-a-lifetime packages. In partnership with On Location, LA28’s Official Hospitality Provider, the Commercial Hospitality team is tasked with creating an integrated strategy that meets stakeholder expectations while ensuring key operational and revenue objectives are met.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Hospitality Operations & Event Production, the Manager, Hospitality Inventory Analyst will oversee the tracking, allocation, pricing, and financial analysis of key hospitality assets. These include ticket allocations across sports and sessions, hotel accommodations provided by LA28, and vehicle access passes (VAPPs) for hospitality clients. The role will focus on ensuring that these assets are strategically managed to maximize their operational and commercial value while supporting the overall success of the Games. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing large datasets, creating and digesting dashboards, and crafting data-driven presentations that clearly convey insights to internal & external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Tracking and Allocation
- Work with the LA28 Ticketing team to help manage the allocation of tickets owned exclusively by On Location for all Olympic and Paralympic sports and sessions, ensuring alignment with operational and stakeholder priorities.
- Track hotel room assignments for accommodations provided by LA28, working with the LA28 Accommodations team to ensure On Location’s needs are met for hospitality packages.
- Coordinate with the LA28 Transportation team to distribute and track vehicle access passes (VAPPs) for hospitality clients, ensuring compliance with Games’ operational requirements.
- Develop tracking for suite inventory in conjunction with On Location and internal Hospitality team. Monitor changes to In-Venue Hospitality (IVH) plans provided by Event Venue Management (EVM) & Venue Infrastructure (VNI) teams.
- In collaboration with Hospitality leadership and key internal and external stakeholders, develop and propose valuable options for new revenue-generating hospitality assets.
- Gather and track all suite assets across competition venues for both temporary and permanent structures.
- Develop and manage guest accreditation process in alignment with internal accreditation team and track status of assets across all On Location needs.
- Monitor the financial implications of all assets, including ticket values, accommodation costs, VAPPs, and other assets providing detailed analyses and updates.
- Ensure hospitality assets (e.g., tickets, accommodations, VAPPs) are allocated with consideration for accessibility and inclusivity.
Data Management and Reporting
- Develop and maintain robust dashboards and tools to track asset usage, allocations, and associated financial metrics.
- Create clear, actionable reports and presentations to share insights with senior leadership, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in asset tracking systems and processes.
- Manage budgets and costs associated with off-venue hospitality builds, ensuring accurate reporting and alignment between On Location and internal functional areas (FAs).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with On Location, internal LA28 functional areas, and external partners to align on asset needs, availability, and delivery plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of asset management into the broader hospitality strategy.
- Support the development of asset allocation policies and procedures to optimize usage and meet stakeholder objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure asset distribution policies align with LA28’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
Operational Support
- Assist in the preparation and execution of Games-time operations related to ticketing, accommodations, accreditations, and VAPPs.
- Provide training and resources to relevant teams on asset management tools and systems.
- Support real-time decision-making during the Games to address unforeseen challenges or changes in asset requirements.
Background & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis, event operations, or related fields, preferably within the sports or live event industry.
- Proven track record in managing large datasets, dashboards, and analytics tools, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Experience with ticketing, hospitality, or event logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and with external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools.
Position Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Event Management, or a related field required, or equivalent work experience.
Expectations:
- Occasionally visit multiple venues (both in-venue and off-venue) to assess hospitality spaces, review operational requirements, and conduct site inspections. This will include walking, standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, and navigating large event sites.
- Ability to travel occasionally to different venues and hospitality locations across the Los Angeles region and possibly outside the Greater Los Angeles region

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000-$105,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
