The LA28 organizing committee is an independent, non-profit organization that is privately funded and governed by a board of directors.

Manager, Accounts Receivable:
The Manager, Accounts Receivable, will oversee LA28’s billings and collections and related accounting and reporting in the Contract to Cash cycle.
The Manager, Accounts Receivable will work closely with LA28 functional areas responsible for revenue and reimbursement from customers and other stakeholders to bill and collect. This role reports to the Controller of LA28 and has overall responsibility for the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger in Workday (ERP system), including master customer data, invoice aging, and application of cash received. The Manager, Accounts Receivable, will assist with ensuring compliance with policy and providing support and training to the staff and across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate on-boarding of customers to Workday and maintain customer master data
- Ensure Accounts Receivable billings are generated timely and accurately, reviewed, coded and sent out to customers and stakeholders for payment
- Apply cash collected to customer accounts which involves daily review of bank transactions and other forms of payment as authorized.
- Review Accounts Receivable aging and set up system of communication with external customers and stakeholders, including dispute resolution review and approval by internal management.
- Create and establish accounts receivable processes for specific LA28 revenue streams
- Serve as internal point of contact for billings and collections, ensure compliance with policies.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting
- Ensure compliance with various internal controls
- Assist with internal / external audit requests
- Other ad hoc requests and projects as needed
Background & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of accounts receivable and accounting experience
- Experience working with Accounts Receivable in an ERP environment
- Experience managing a team of 2+
- Experience supporting new lines of business, creating standard operating procedures and working directly with financial institutions to facilitate payments are pluses
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability at problem-solving
- Ability to work independently to resolve issues
- Well-developed communication skills, interpersonal skills, both oral and written

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- On-site, hybrid (4 days a week) to start.
- Must be able to relocate to the Los Angeles, California area.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $105,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
