The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. VNI Manager, Change Management
The Venues and Infrastructure (VNI) team plays a critical role in delivering competition and non-competition venues that are functional, innovative, and fully accessible for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of the larger Sport and Games Delivery group, the VNI team ensures that all venues are designed, developed, and delivered with the highest standards for functionality, sustainability, and inclusion.
Reporting to the Sr. Mgr., Risk and Assurance, the VNI Manager, Change Management will lead and own the change management program for the VNI team. The Manager will record, monitor, and report changes to the infrastructure program, including preparing the governance process as well as identifying and communicating change impacts downstream to other functional areas. The Manager will also oversee teams to support the change management process. This role will require deep collaboration across LA28 internal teams and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have managed and/or created the management of change (MOC) or similar process for complex project delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Change Management (Management of Change)
- Prepare and own the change management strategy and process for the VNI program
- Establish governance for change management, including decision matrices and delegated authority tables
- Identify risks and impacts to cost and schedule for program change requests, partnering with subject matter experts where appropriate
- Record program change requests in a change log and communicate impacts to appropriate stakeholders. Update other plans (master schedule, cost plan, etc.) to reflect these changes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Cascade the impact of infrastructure program changes across functional areas (e.g. ticketing, hospitality, sport, finance)
- Participate in cross-functional activities to uncover, understand, and communicate changes
- Report on changes, and ensure appropriate approvals and notifications are documented
Background & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in change management
- Proficient in management of change systems and methodologies
- Experience with infrastructure projects and/or sport and events planning
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- The position is in Los Angeles with in-person attendance required.
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
- The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.

- Project management certifications desired

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
