LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The United States Olympic and Paralympic Properties (USOPP) is the commercial joint venture between LA28 and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), charged with marketing and selling combined commercial assets, including rights to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams (Team USA) and the LA28 Games. The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles’ third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. This presents the unique and exciting opportunity to celebrate our legacy with the Games and push the Olympic and Paralympic Movements forward, writing a new chapter of Games history in Los Angeles.

Manager, Partner Operations:
On behalf of LA28, USOPC, and USOPP, the Partner Operations (PO) team plays a critical role in enabling the success of the Partnership Marketing (PM) team by leading all operational responsibilities, systems, and processes required to effectively deliver on Commercial Partner commitments. PO is a core function within the broader USOPP Commercial Partnerships Team.
Rooted in operational excellence and driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, the Manager, who will report directly to the Director, Partner Operations, will support the day-to-day execution of the partner delivery model. This role helps coordinate the fulfillment all contractual rights, benefits, and activations across the LA28 and Team USA portfolios. The Manager will work cross-functionally to support activation planning, internal workflows, deliverable tracking, and reporting.
With a strong understanding of sponsorship & hospitality operations, event marketing logistics, project management, and cross-functional coordination, the Manager helps to maintain the USOPP operational foundation that supports commercial strategy and enables world-class partner servicing to LA28, Team USA, and our Commercial Partners. A successful candidate will bring strong organizations skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to implement scalable systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and execution of operational plans, resources, and workflows required to service LA28 & Team USA Commercial Partners
- Liaise with key internal departments—including Games Delivery, Logistics & Services, Fan Experience, Transportation, Brand, Digital, Legal, and Finance—to ensure alignment on partner-related deliverables and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build partner playbooks and activation guidelines, supporting partner integration into LA28 initiatives
- Work with Hospitality, Accommodations, and Ticketing departments to organize partner Games-time hosting programs
- Manage the event venue planning process and advocate for partner needs regarding hospitality programs and brand activations or integrations
- Serve as a central point of contact with external stakeholders such as the USOPC, IOC, and IPC to coordinate and align on operational requirements that support Partner activations and Games-time priorities and hospitality programs
- Manage the planning and execution of Partner-facing summits and workshops —including program preparation, logistics support and post-event follow-up
Background & Requirements:
- 5+ years of direct experience in experiential marketing, partnership operations, or related disciplines with a focus on operational planning
- Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports marketing industry. Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and executing Partners’ strategic plans across brand, marketing, and hospitality
- Strong knowledge of business operations, project management, and financial processes
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to help build and maintain scalable systems and workflows that improve performance
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across departments to track deliverables and timelines
- Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
- Clear communicator with great attention to detail

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sports management,related field or equivalent work experience.
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000-105,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
