LastPass is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager:

As a Senior Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will lead critical initiatives and projects across multiple areas, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Support. You will be part of the Technical Project Management function, responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects and programs — from project initiation and planning to execution and closure. As a TPM, you will lead business, functional, and technical resources, build relationships, ask the right questions, and drive clear communication across all levels within the organization. You thrive in an ambiguous environment, bringing structure, strategy, and consistency to ensure successful project delivery.

If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you!

Who will you work with?

You will lead resources across both technical and business functions to execute these critical projects. You will be comfortable bringing people together across all levels of the company to drive results. Depending on the day, you will work and interact with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and our executive team to enable business value.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Lead GTM Systems projects of various sizes, from project initiation through stabilization. You will work collaboratively across all functions to deliver the vision and goals for the project by building the right structure and methodology to drive results.
  • Manage and execute communications at all levels, from Steering Committee meetings to daily standups. You will “roll up your sleeves” and ask the right probing questions, holding people accountable for the success of the project.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles, with a sense of urgency, that slow down or prevent project teams from delivering project outcomes. Proactively identify project gaps and resolve them.
  • Implement and enhance agile project management methodologies and best practices, continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery for the team.
  • Facilitate sprint planning sessions to define and prioritize project work during backlog grooming ceremonies, collaborating with teams to establish achievable goals and commitments.
  • Develop comprehensive plans outlining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, tasks, and resource requirements. Collaborate with the Enterprise Systems team and stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria. Work closely with the systems, stakeholders, and leadership teams to set project priorities.
  • Create and facilitate a project structure and process that ensures high-quality delivery, tight scope, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • When necessary, act as a Scrum Master by guiding and supporting engineering teams through the agile development process and removing potential blockers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, external vendors, and product teams.
  • Be a catalyst within the organization, helping advance our TPM methodology and driving others to adopt change.
  • Foster effective communication and coordination among team members, ensuring seamless project delivery.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Cross-functional, hands-on technical project management experience within a technology organization, leading complex projects that support Marketing, Sales, or Customer Success systems.
  • A solid understanding of the SaaS business model and specifically how a Revenue organization functions.
  • Project execution experience with Go-To-Market systems such as Salesforce.com, Clari, Gong, Impartner, LeanData, etc.
  • Deep experience driving projects in Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of both the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and non-technology project lifecycles, including identifying business problems, developing business cases, creating project plans, and overseeing project management and closeout.
  • An immense curiosity and flexibility to tailor the best solutions for LastPass, rather than relying on a standard playbook.
  • A passion for learning and empowering others to do their best work.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and trust with stakeholders, keeping them and their teams engaged and motivated, especially during challenging times.
  • Proven ability to interact with audiences at all levels, facilitating and influencing decision-making and problem-solving across projects, programs, and teams.
  • Adaptable self-starter, skilled at creating structure in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, serving as a liaison between business and technical teams, and driving effective, timely solutions.
  • Superior communication skills and a proven track record of interacting successfully at all levels: individual contributors, management, stakeholders, and executives.
  • Ability to present past project experiences, such as Project Kickoffs, Steering Committee slides, and Success Criteria, in panel settings.

It's great, but not required:

  • Previous roles within an IT organization as a BSA, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Systems Administrator.
  • Familiarity with and working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketing Automation platforms, Gainsight, etc.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
