
Manager, Global Compensation

Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.
Legend Biotech is seeking Manager, Global Compensation as part of the Total Rewards team based in Somerset, NJ.
Role Overview
The Manager, Global Compensation is a core operational leader within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence, responsible for driving the execution of global compensation programs and delivering high-impact analytics and reporting. This role leads the operational delivery of annual compensation cycles, equity administration, labor cost modeling, and survey benchmarking. The Manager owns key processes and systems, applying strong analytical rigor, process discipline, and stakeholder partnership to ensure compensation programs are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and strategic alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Annual Compensation Planning:
- Lead the execution of annual compensation cycles including merit, promotion, and bonus planning.
- Establish and manage data templates, process timelines, and system configurations.
- Partner with HRIS, HRBPs, and Finance to ensure accurate planning, validation, and reporting.
- Equity Plan Operations:
- Manage end-to-end equity operations including grant issuance, vesting schedules, tracking, and reporting.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and stock plan administrators to ensure compliance and timely execution.
- Maintain equity data integrity and support employee communications and inquiries.
- Labor Cost Analysis & Reporting:
- Lead the development of annual labor cost models to support workforce planning and budgeting.
- Own monthly compensation reporting, trend analysis, and variance tracking for HR and Finance stakeholders.
- Deliver insights and recommendations based on labor cost trends and forecasts.
- Compensation Surveys & Benchmarking:
- Manage participation in global compensation surveys, including data submission and validation.
- Analyze survey results and prepare benchmarking reports to inform market pricing and pay positioning.
- Maintain survey library and ensure consistent methodology across geographies.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Own the development and delivery of compensation dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Analyze compensation trends, identify risks, and provide actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems and reporting tools.
- Policy & Guideline Development:
- Develop and maintain compensation policies, guidelines, and process documentation.
- Ensure policies are current, compliant, and effectively communicated across HR and business teams.
- Job Evaluation & Pricing:
- Lead job evaluations and market pricing using survey data and internal benchmarks.
- Partner with HRBPs to understand job scope and responsibilities, and make leveling decisions.
- Provide offer pricing recommendations in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
- Recognition Program Ownership:
- Own the global recognition platform, including vendor relationship management, system configuration, and award tracking.
- Establish program guidelines, monitor usage, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Lead enhancements and ensure alignment with company culture and values
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field
- CCP or equivalent certification is a plus
- 4–6 years of experience in compensation operations or analytics, preferably in a public, global company.
- Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive data.
- Advanced Proficiency of Excel- Pivot tables, macros
- Proficiency in compensation systems and HRIS platforms (Workday preferred).
- Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

The anticipated base pay range is:
$123,605 - $162,232 USD
