We are seeking an Accountant to join our team and support our finance and operational processes with meticulous attention to detail, organizational prowess, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receivables and payables, subscriptions and contract processing support, possess strong QuickBooks proficiency, and demonstrate accounting knowledge. Experience with Stripe is considered a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage monthly accounting, generate reports, and streamline accounting processes.
  • Manage receivables and payables, create new subscriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Customer Support: Assist in resolving customer inquiries and issues related to operations, billing, and order fulfillment. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth coordination and timely execution. Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide administrative support to various operational functions, including but not limited to scheduling, document management, and customer correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain precise records and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-centric approach to supporting stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with Stripe or other payment processing platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Commitment to upholding confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in operations support roles, with a focus on invoice and contract processing.
