The role

We are looking for a Pricing & Valuations Analyst to play a key role in the modelling, optimizing, and implementing pricing across our global, multiproduct platform.

This is a technical hands-on role for an analytically-minded individual who wants to sit at the intersection of commercial strategy, data, analytics, and product development. You’ll help build the infrastructure, logic, and frameworks that ensure our pricing delivers both customer value and strong unit economics – particularly as we scale into new markets, launch new partners and develop new products.

You’ll be embedded in the broader commercial strategy team, working closely with stakeholders in Data, Risk, Finance and Product to shape how we understand pricing performance and deliver great outcomes for our merchants.

What you’ll be doing

  • Pricing implementation: Play a key role in the execution of our pricing strategy – ensuring pricing is deployed accurately and consistently across partners, products, and geographies.
  • Financial modelling in data tools: Collaborate on the development of our deal modelling, particularly around cashflow and risk expectations, particularly for new products.
  • Design new partner pricing: Contribute to the development of pricing for new partners, tailoring structures and parameters to fit different merchant segments, unit economics requirements, and commercial agreements.
  • Develop pricing tools & techniques: Build and refine tools to simulate pricing outcomes, test hypotheses, and model initiative trade-offs. Continuously improve how we price our financial products to reflect merchant needs and risk profiles.
  • Work cross-functionally: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Commercial, Risk, Product, and Data to ensure pricing logic is scalable, testable, and integrated into operational processes.
  • Drive innovation through experimentation: Contribute to test-and-learn initiatives, such as pricing A/B tests or elasticities research, to deepen our understanding of pricing effectiveness and customer behaviour.

What we think you’ll need

  • A strong proficiency in SQL, with experience designing. Maintaining complex, well-structured analytical procedures and models in cloud data environments like BigQuery and experience with dbt a plus.
  • Commercially curious – eager to understand the drivers of pricing performance, merchant behaviour, and product outcomes.
  • Analytical problem-solver – able to structure ambiguous problems, interrogate data, and develop clear, actionable insights.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic – able to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver solutions that balance accuracy with speed and usability.
  • Experience designing and/or managing pricing models, risk models, or unit economics frameworks.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker or PowerBI.
  • Experience in a pricing, strategy, data, or financial modelling role – ideally in fintech, lending, or financial services.

What happens next?

Think this sounds like the right next move for you? Or if you’re not completely confident that you fit our exact criteria, apply anyway and we can arrange a call to see if the role is fit for you. Humility is a wonderful thing, and we are interested in hearing about what you can add to Liberis!

Our hybrid approach

Working together in person helps us move faster, collaborate better, and build a great Liberis culture. Our hybrid working policy requires team members to be in the office at least 3 days a week, but ideally 4 days. At Liberis, we embrace flexibility as a core part of our culture, while also valuing the importance of the time our teams spend together in the office.
