Lightspeed’s Customer Content team is looking for an Associate Video Production Specialist to produce, edit, curate, and maintain our video support content as we continue to grow into new markets and continuously improve the self-serve experience for our customers.
About the role
As part of the team, you’ll be reporting to our Customer Content Manager and working closely with technical writers, product managers, and support specialists to produce and edit professional-quality video setup and tutorial content to help customers get the most out of their Lightspeed products and services.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Producing and recording engaging, accessible video content for our YouTube channels and embedding them in our Help Centers
- Editing video content, adding titles, transitions, and animations according to style guide standards, and exporting according to best practices
- Working closely with our Senior Video Production Specialist to streamline the video production process and collaborate effectively on the completion of videos
- Working closely with our Localization Project Coordinator to get videos localized in supported languages

- You know how to tell an engaging story in a visually appealing way
- You can learn complex concepts quickly and explain them simply
- You are comfortable learning new tools and technologies
- You enjoy collaborating and developing lasting partnerships with teams and stakeholders
- You are detail-oriented and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback
- You are resourceful and think creatively to continuously improve and innovate
- You are organized and can manage shifting deadlines in a fast-paced tech environment
- You focus on delivering the best customer experience in everything you do
What you’ll be bringing to the team
- Experience producing and editing professional-quality video content
- Skilled with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere.
- Experience working with video and brand style guides
- Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and manage priorities
Even better if you have, but not necessary
- A degree or professional certification in video and/or film production, graphic design, or a related field
- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Audition
- Experience creating educational or self-service video content
- Experience creating content that is localized in multiple languages
- Experience with knowledge management tools like Zendesk Guide
- Understanding of retail, hospitality, and financial services industries and technologies
- Fluency or working knowledge of French, Dutch, German
