UX Researcher V - Monetization

Summary:

  • As a UX Researcher on the Monetization team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping innovative product experiences. You’ll collaborate within a focused, cross-functional pod empowered with the autonomy, resources, and time to envision, build, and launch entirely new products. Research is central to this team’s success—from uncovering unmet needs to refining prototypes and optimizing products for market readiness.

    You’ll lead research efforts across the full product lifecycle:

    • Formative research to identify latent user needs and market opportunities
    • Iterative design research to shape early concepts into actionable prototypes
    • Evaluative research to enhance product quality and ensure market fit

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and fellow researchers to define and deliver impactful product experiences
    • Develop and execute research roadmaps both independently and collaboratively
    • Lead diverse research initiatives across all stages of product development
    • Influence product strategy, execution, and go-to-market planning
    • Manage external research vendors to scale and support team efforts

    Required Skills & Expertise

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to hypothesis testing
    • Expertise in storytelling to engage and persuade diverse stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions in high-autonomy environments
    • Experience mentoring peers and providing constructive feedback
    • Deep familiarity with B2B, enterprise, or advertiser-facing research

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a human behavior-related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics)
    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience conducting product research

Location: United States (Remote, PST preferred)

Role type: Contract - 12 Month Position

Expected hours: 40 per week
