Senior Manager of ECU Sustaining

Responsibilities include:
- Own all internal Low Voltage (LV) ECU HW and SW sustaining programs and production
- Build and manage a small team of sustaining Engineers and professionals.
- Manage factory and field escalations to resolutions.
- Work with the CM and internal Quality groups to improve yields and root cause ECU failures to compliment level.
- Work on cost reductions and second source qualifications.
- Continually analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and implement process improvements.
- Communicate to management regularly on status, issues and solutions, improvement plans, program status and process recommendations.
- Some travel may be required, <5%.
Experience Required:
- Sustaining management role working in both HW and SW arenas.
- Background in high volume consumer products, electro-mechanical products or Automotive Electronics experience is preferred.
- Proven success in field issue resolution.
- Demonstrated collaboration working with SW and HW teams to find solutions quickly and efficiently.
- Asian ODM/CM experience a must.
- Previous experience in post ramp qualifications and releases.
- We are looking for someone who worked in production or in the service group sustaining products at a technical level, with post ramp qualification management and demonstrated yield improvement.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with multiple organizations across different cultures and regions.
- Excellent communication skills (writing and oral).
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering (SW, EE, or related technical major).
- Minimum of 10 years hands in Sustaining, Service or Production, PCBA & system level hands on experience.
- Minimum 5 years managing people in a Technical Role.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$195,500 - $325,900 USD
