As a Sr. Technical Program Manager for the Chassis Electronics team, you will be responsible for managing of all Chassis software items and integration for future development programs. The Chassis group is responsible for chassis systems and components, software and vehicle dynamics.

 

Role

  • Provide general program related support to Chassis Electronics Engineering Manager, Chassis Module Leader and Chassis Software Engineers to ensure clear communication of timeline milestones and support with escalation / resolution of program decisions needed
  • Create and maintain detailed Gantt charts of multiple software projects
  • Create and track chassis software milestones and drive/support progress within Chassis to achieve deadlines
  • Support software feature development lifecycle management, electrical architecture definition
  • Track Software Issue Management, Software Tuning, Functional Safety & Cybersecurity Development
  • Identify critical paths, resource constraints and roadblocks
  • Interface with Lucid internal departments and chassis commodity suppliers to keep the validation program on time for vehicle build phases and start of vehicle production
  • Utilize Jira to communicate and monitor engineering tasks and progress
  • Utilize various communication pages and documentation to publish critical information
  • Provide regular progress updates to management and the executive staff
  • Lead priority and review of design release and hardware/software change requests through the Lucid change request system
  • Support cost breakdown review of software deliverables and work cross functionally to establish should costs, and targets, and help connect teams and suppliers
  • Organize, where needed, technical guidance to solve engineering challenges with chassis systems

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional work experience in a STEM related field
  • 3+ years working in technical program management
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing aggressive program timelines and deadlines
  • Experience in technical / engineering program management in STEM fields such as automotive or consumer electronics
  • Experience working with electromechanical assemblies
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira, and Confluence
  • Experience creating and using GANTT charts
  • Experience in manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, die casting, and mechanical assembly processes

 

Advantageous

  • Diagnostics Development: Familiarity with developing software for vehicle diagnostics
  • Development Tools: Proficient in using automotive development and debugging tools, such as Vector CANape, CANalyzer, and CAN/Ethernet sniffing tools.
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using Jama, Jira, and Confluence for project management and documentation.
  • Basic Model-Based Experience: Proficient in using MATLAB Simulink for code generation, state flow, model adviser, code guidelines, and test development.
  • 5+ years of work experience in automotive software, preferably chassis software
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced startup environment with frequent prioritization adjustments
  • Experience leading design release and change requests
  • Experience with headcount planning, resourcing, and prioritization
  • Experience with concept to launch, vehicle development and product launch or consumer product launch
  • Knowledge in cross function development of electronics components
  • A positive attitude with a drive to learn and contribute meaningfully
  • Exceptional communication in written and verbal English
  • Exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop strategic planning related to project timing, cost and technical requirements

 

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM. Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
 
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$146,100 - $243,500 USD
