Intern, Employee Development Specialist, Summer 2025
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Learning and Development team and perform instructional design tasks, including training guides, video production, and eLearning creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure our systems are functioning efficiently.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and compelling course content using a variety of delivery methods and modalities such as webinars, eLearning, instructor-led training (classroom), etc.
- Ensure instructional content aligns with the company’s branding standards, learning theories, and organizational objectives
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather training needs to translate that into a quality training experience for adult learning
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training experiences
- Create and execute learning strategies and programs based on the needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field(s) of study: Bachelor of Science, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
- Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
- Skilled in organizing and establishing priorities
- Detail-orientated
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations
- Proficiency in MS Office, Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, and Captivate preferred
Program Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Casa Grande, AZ, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $26 to $38.
- Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$26 - $38 USD
