Intern, Strategy and Communications, Summer 2025
As a strategy and communications Intern, you will support our team in driving key initiatives while honing your ability to communicate strategic insights effectively across the IT organization. You’ll be involved in shaping and delivering presentations and communications, contributing to decision-making processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Storytelling & Communication: Assist in building compelling messaging, preparing presentations, and delivering them to IT leadership and employees.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to gather input, communicate progress, and drive initiatives that support broader business goals.
· Strategic Planning & Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of IT strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Help identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
· Project Management & Coordination: Support planning, risk management, and timeline tracking for ongoing IT projects.
· Operational Support: Gain exposure to IT operations including project planning, infrastructure, and systems management. Complete day-to-day activities and collaborate with team members to support operational and business needs.

· Creative and forward-thinking approach to communications and marketing, with a passion for developing and executing fresh ideas that resonate across a diverse audience
· Strong communicator, comfortable with asking insightful questions and presenting information to leadership and stakeholders at all levels.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, particularly in managing documentation and project tracking.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, balancing multiple priorities.
· Ownership mindset with the ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
· Professional demeanor with the ability to engage effectively with executives and teams.
Education:
· Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (MBA or MS) at an accredited university.
· Proof of enrollment for the current or upcoming academic term.
Nice to Have:
· A passion for electric vehicles (EVs) and an understanding of the automotive or technology industries.
· Previous experience in IT consulting, project management, or IT operations.
Program Information:
- Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules.
- Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs.
- Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Newark, CA, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work.
- Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $31 to $45.
- Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis.
- Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area.
- Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check.
- Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen.
- Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time.
- Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
Base Pay Range (hourly)
$31 - $45 USD
