Material Review Board Team Member
The Material Review Board (MRB) Team member will contribute to the hands-on production & inspection of Lucid’s world-class vehicles and/or electric vehicle powertrains. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
Candidates must have the ability to work with various teams in General Assembly, Powertrain, Body-In-White, and Paint & Quality Control. They will also be required to work with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers in various aspects of the overall process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to establish effective working relationships both internally and outside of the organization.
You Will:
- Support Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) in Arizona by managing quality-related Sorts to address issues with supplied parts, overseeing MRB processes, segregating nonconforming parts, applying appropriate disposition tags, and organizing parts within designated MRB areas and quarantine zones.
- Follow a required specific sequence of steps in a process repetitively for an extended period of time.
- Provide recommendations based on experience to increase detection capability.
- Use complex tooling that requires specialized training.
- Evaluate the inspection processes and equipment and look for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Escalate any process abnormalities to the appropriate support groups and leaders.
- Have a high attention to detail and focus during the inspection processes.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses, vests, shoes, hard hats where required.
You Bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license to operate vehicles in the United States.
- The ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- The ability for physical work including but not limited to pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, lifting, repetitive motions, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to perform standardized work processes and defined work instructions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, demonstrating a professional-level command of the language in all forms of correspondence and presentations.
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and discuss complex issues with diverse audiences, including peers and leadership teams.
- Reliability, with good initiative, commitment, and a quality-minded focus.
- Flexibility to support any shift including day, night, and swing shifts, as needed. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
- Ability to work for extended periods of time.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg), while performing similar physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability for detailed focus during the inspection processes.
- Experience with inspection and quality processes, preferably within an automotive-related environment, such as an OEM plant (preferred, not required).
- A basic proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP are preferred
