
Residual Value Analyst
In this role, you will support Residual Value Management as part of Lucid’s Financial Services organization, providing inputs on strategies to optimize residual values. You will have deep automotive financial services experience with a strong analytical skillset and expertise in market research, forecasting and competitive landscape analysis. Responsibilities include residual value reporting, residual risk analysis & monitoring, and tracking industry & market trends.
You Will:
- Support the Residual Value Management function at Lucid, reporting on residual value trends for all global regions
- Develop residual value forecast based on sales trends, industry insights, and macroeconomic factors
- Identify risks/opportunities, conduct stress testing, and run scenario analysis to assess portfolio resilience under different economic conditions
- Effectively communicate with senior management on the impact of market conditions on the valuation of Lucid vehicles
- Provide actionable insights and develop data-based strategies to strengthen the value of Lucid’s portfolio, improve & optimize residual value performance and increase profitability across each market
- Effectively collaborate with key cross functional stakeholders including Sales, Sales Remarketing (Pre-Owned Operations), Finance, Product Marketing, Accounting, and lending partners to ensure frictionless processes
- Build and maintain appropriate management reporting to ensure transparency regarding performance with a solid bias for decision making
- Serve as an internal resource and subject matter expert for questions and issues surrounding Residual Values
- Establish credibility within Lucid as the go-to expert in Financial Services on EV research and residual value/industry insights
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years’ automotive and/or automotive financial services experience in Residual Value Strategy, Consulting, Captive Finance, Remarketing, Sales Operations, Data Analytics, and/or Risk Management; Experience in Luxury & EV segment is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
- Proven experience and skillset in quantitative analysis, statistical model development, and forecasting
- Proficiency in risk management tools, statistical analysis, and data analytics (e.g., SAS, SQL, Python, R)
- Excellent knowledge of Automotive Financial Services products, including automotive leasing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate and work across all levels & functional areas
