We are currently seeking a Paint Supervisor. This position requires an experienced professional with the ability to run paint production. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly, and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role:
- Train, organize and supervise all paint production areas to support a world-class finish (PT/ED, Sealer/Finesse/Spot Reprocess/GA Paint Reprocess)
- Organize production schedules and process times
- Inventory management for indirect consumables
- Review budgets for all materials/production hours in the respective area
- New model launch support
- Develop and implement a training program for future associates (standardized work/hands on training/process control plans)
- Provide feedback on production quality to all paint shop departments to increase first-time run rate
- Implement production quality standards for a premium painted finish
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible to shift work
- OEM paint shop work experience - (Ecoat/Sealer/Finesse/Reprocess)
- Experience training/supervising/leading teams
- Team player/excellent communication skills
- Organized and detailed
- Understand budgets and time management
