See Your Work in a New Light
At LUX Infusion, we believe infusion care deserves more light — more warmth, more clarity, and more connection. That belief extends beyond clinical care to the billing and reimbursement work that makes access to therapy possible.
We’re looking for Billing Specialists who want their work to mean something — individuals who bring accuracy, accountability, and purpose to ensuring claims are processed correctly and patients experience clarity, not confusion, around their care.
Why This Role Matters
Billing accuracy and timeliness are essential to keeping patients on therapy and supporting a sustainable care model. The Billing Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring claims are submitted correctly, reimbursements are reconciled accurately, and payer requirements are met.
In this role, you’ll contribute to work that:
- Helps patients maintain uninterrupted access to infusion care
- Supports clinicians and operations teams through reliable revenue cycle execution
- Ensures compliance with payer contracts and regulatory standards
- Strengthens a patient‑first, clinician‑led organization focused on outcomes
Behind every successful infusion is a billing process that works — and this role helps make that possible.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Prepare and submit insurance claims for home infusion services, including medications, nursing services, and supplies
- Verify documentation and coding accuracy prior to claim submission
- Process electronic pharmacy insurance claims with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Ensure reimbursement data is accurate, complete, and entered timely prior to weekly and month‑end close
- Review payments received to ensure correct application and final account resolution
- Maintain a working understanding of payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies
- Respond to billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies with professionalism and clarity
- Stay current on payer guidelines, billing regulations, and reimbursement changes
- Work with clearinghouses and internal billing systems to support clean claims
- Assist with data entry, administrative support, and clerical billing tasks as needed
- Bring strong ownership and follow‑through to claims accuracy and compliance
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- A customer‑service mindset balanced with financial accuracy
- Comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Accountability and pride in doing work that protects patient access to care
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical billing and collections
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of medical billing and collections experience
- Prior home infusion therapy billing experience
- Experience with CareTend, CPR+, or similar billing systems
You don’t need to check every box — we care just as much about how you approach your work as what’s on your resume.
Why LUX Infusion

Here, you’ll find:
- Purpose‑driven work that directly supports patient access to therapy
- A patient‑first, clinician‑led culture
- Collaborative finance, pharmacy, and operations teams
- Clear expectations and opportunities for growth
- A potential hybrid model as trust and performance are established
