Utility Scale Mining HR Specialist

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for various responsibilities within the Utility Scale Mining business unit. Managing business unit job descriptions, offer letters, recruiting. In addition, assisting with onboarding, and offering administrative support to all Utility Scale Mining employees are a few of these duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assist in conducting new hire Onboarding for USM employees.
  2. Assist with the recruiting and interviewing process. Check candidates’ references as needed. Work with local recruiting agencies to fill roles.
  3. Work with the supervisors/managers on site in reviewing the employees’ timecards for accuracy and making sure managers are approving in a timely manner.
  4. Identifying employees needs and assist as needed.
  5. Coordinate with corporate HR to ensure paperwork and employment records up to date.
  6. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Being able to prioritize.
  • Great attitude and willingness to help where needed.
