Position overview
The Jr. Project Analyst will collaborate closely with the Project Accounting team to ensure accurate project setup and maintenance of our Vantagepoint database. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with project management methodologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with McAdams team members at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Vantagepoint database which includes managing firms and client contacts.
- Work with project accounting team and project managers to properly set up and maintain projects, including billing terms, compensation, project setup forms; follow up on information that is not available at project setup.
- Maintain contract management, ensure relevant documents are attached in Vantagepoint.
- Ensure timely and accurate job costing for labor charges, fees, etc.
- Send and track Certificate of Insurance requests.
- Process and track vendor packages.
- Notarize lien wavers and pay applications.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision preferred.
- 0-3 years A&E industry work experience preferred.
- Notary Public or ability to obtain first 90 days.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
